Neurodisc Records is a Ft. Lauderdale, Florida based record label specializing in the electronic, new age, and bass genres. Neurodisc launched in the summer of 1992 and quickly made its mark in the emerging Miami bass genre; the company's first five electro-bass releases sold over 100,000 units in total. New Age Music is a wide-ranging music genre which incorporates many other genres including ambient music, chillout music, atmospheric music, world music, jazz, classical and electronic music (amongst others). Originally coined in the 1960's to describe the emerging sounds from the US and around the world, New Age Music is now a widely established and respected musical genre in its own right and has become a musical home to some of the great composers of our time such as Vangelis, Mike Oldfield and Jean Michel Jarre.
