Oshari

Oshari composes his music by immersing himself in the myths, ancient traditions, artefacts and instruments of a culture and letting his inspiration flow out of this experience. His music has the power to transport you into the soundscape of these other cultures, connecting you to the power and the beauty of these different worlds in ways that are exciting, effortless, and hugely enjoyable.

Oshari's music interweaves atmospheric soundscapes with deep, stirring textures and grounding melodies and uses ethnic instruments and rhythms.

He treats his music as a way of taking the listener on a journey that evokes different emotions and reactions to the source of inspiration in a particular culture. A process that allows him to build bridges between our contemporary world and the worlds ancient cultures and mysteries. His music lets you explore other worlds and connects you to other places and other ways of being.

Oshari's music has been greatly inspired by Vangelis, Jean Michelle Jarre, and Medwyn Goodall. To be working with Medwyn and MG Music is a dream come true.

Oshari's interests include travelling, collecting musical instruments from around the world, exploring mystical sites, and great film music.

Oshari composes music from his studio based in the heart of the UK's beautiful Lake District which is an inspiration to him.
