Kokila Bennett

Kokila is a inspired new age/celtic inspired pianist, singer and harpist.
She composes all that she performs and feels her music is a healing bridge to peace in a world needing harmony and healing.
Many in the healing professions use her music, especially those in hospice work.
Kokila was trained as a pianist, but also is proficient in Baroque music, having studied recorder for many years. She is also a harpist, performing on that instrument as well as piano in concert.
She has a great love and is inspired by the British Isles, having grown up on an old estate replicated from a English one. Being American, yet having British ties, created a yearning in her for a sound in her music that was like Celtic traditional music. She was classically trained, and that comes out in her sound, yet there is that delicate, haunting melody that speaks of the fey world!
She is a prolific composer and has many CDS to her credit and has hundreds more to put to disk!
