Craig Skala

Craig Skala is musician based out of Toronto Canada. He has earned his living through playing live as a sideman in many genres from Funk to Rock , Lounge acts , some Jazz and some Country.

Additionally , he is continuasly in the studio providing electric , acoustic , nylon string, lapsteel guitars , mandolins , banjos , balalaika and whatever other stringed instruments he can reasonably fake for numerous T.V. shows , films , docs , whatever.

Every day in T.V. can be vastly different. You can't possibly know everything , but you can certainly try your best to research and capture the essence of a genre as you will most likely have to sustain it for a few seconds to a few minutes at the most.

His Tundra CD is a true reflection of the type of music he likes to surround himself with. Very ambient , cool , laid back , elements of rock , real instrumentation with a focus on guitar.
