The second release from Jon explores more world music, folk and psychedelic territories. A more upbeat album than his previous release, although it still contains a lot of ethereal moments, on such tracks as 'Bridge of Sighs', 'Transmigration' and 'The Wishing Stone'. Overall, Transmigration is a much more 'experimental', direct and punchy album, in so far as Jon is using a much wider variety of sound sources - even a session vocalist for the title track!
